Siam insect zoo is a decent butterfly orchard, a portion where you observe lots of insect specimens pinned, mounted, and labeled, plus the genuine fun part, a guided tour and interaction with some awesome living bugs! The youngsters were kinda spooked, but warmed up to holding most of the insects.
Numerous books on Butterflies and Beetles, some in English, have been published by Siam insect zoo & museum as a harvest of their study. As a register the Siam Insect Zoo states that you will find among ten and thirty million species of insects in the World but just 1 million are known to Discipline there's still lots of work to be done. There were a sweet fair numbers of live critters, and funky caterpillars, spiders, scorpions, walking sticks, mantises, and beetles. You could hold just about everything although we unwavering not to hold the live scorpions even though the woman assured us “it only stings a little bit”. Another neat part was meeting all the different kinds of caterpillars and gathering their exceeding cocoons. Some cocoons seem like authentic gold and are wonderful!
The Siam insect zoo & museum is separated into a number of separate spots. On access are the showcases displaying Butterflies, Insects and Beetles. Passing through this area you see the live beano section with a promiscuity of Beetles and Insects, depending of course on the time of year. There is also a large Butterfly enclosure. One of the many cool things around the Siam insect zoo & museum is that all the info signs are in both Thai and English that isn't mean faculty as there are exactly hundreds of information notes. Siam Insect Zoo is well laid out and has incredible for everyone to get pleasure from whether it be the casual observer, nature lover or scholastic student.

Admission fees : Adult 200 baht, Child 150 bahtWe could have use longer here, and highly appreciated the one on one care from the employees as they walked around with us, mainly giving us a private tour of the insects! The facility was not huge, but it was well done. Your kids will love it!
