Wat Phra Singh Worawihan, also known simply as Wat PhraSingh, is a temple located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This temple is considered one of the most important cultural treasures in the country and is the second most venerated temple in Chiang Mai after Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. The Viharn Lai Kham is a secondary hall for prayer and meditation and is beautifully decorated with intricate carvings, gold-plated accents, and colorful murals. The Ubosot is considered a sacred space within the temple complex and the scripture library Ho Trai is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Thailand.

 

Wat Phra Singh is located inside the old city wall and is open daily from 6 am to 5 pm. Admission is free for Thai people and 20 THB per person for foreigners.
