Explore the Fascinating World of
Elephants at Maesa Elephant Camp in Chiang Mai
Located
in the lush tropical jungle of Chiang Mai's Maesa Valley, the Maesa ElephantCamp is home to one of the largest families of elephants in northern Thailand.
At our camp, we believe in creating a natural and healthy environment for the
elephants while also working towards conserving and breeding them, in light of
the decreasing number of Asian elephants in the wild.
As
a tour agency in Chiang Mai, we are proud to offer private tours to the MaesaElephant Camp, where you can experience the magic of these majestic creatures
up close. Our tours include a visit to the showground, where you can watch the
elephants showcase their incredible skills and enjoy a variety of fabulous
shows.
During
the show, you can witness elephants demonstrating how to get on and off an
elephant, enjoy musical performances and dancing, observe how the elephants
sleep at night, and witness talented elephant players engaging in football
matches. You can also watch in amazement as eight of our elephant artists
create abstract and realistic paintings, making Maesa Elephant Camp the only
place in the world where you can see realistic paintings created by elephant
artists.
Other
highlights of our tour include watching the elephants massage their mahouts by
using their trunks, observing the stick picking competition, and enjoying a
dart game show performed by our little elephants. You can also witness a
logging and lumber dragging show, giving you a unique insight into the working
lives of these magnificent creatures.
