Overview :Without a doubt Chiang Mai has one of the best Night Safari set ups in the region. The Chiang Mai Night Safari is nestled in among the foot hills of the Doi Phui mountain and its national park and provides a stunning beautiful and natural backdrop to this attraction.
There are three main areas for animal viewing. Two of the zones featured in the theme park are for night time viewing – these are the Savanna Safari zone and the Predator Prowl zone. Night time viewing opens at 6 pm and it closes at midnight. There is an open sided tram where visitors can travel through different zones and explore the zoo. There are about 300 animals that can be found in the Savanna Safari zone. There are rhinos, hyenas, cheetahs, jaguars and leopards. The Predator Prowl zone houses more than 200 animals which mostly includes tigers, lions, hunting dogs, wolves, bears and crocodiles.The Chiang Mai Night Safari is a fabulous activity for all ages to enjoy.
