Leading up from this place is a erect staircase of 187 steps. At the top lies a big circular 'sala' with brilliant views of the surrounding countryside. Just above this is the entry to the cavity.
The right way to go to Muang On Cave
Move out of Chiangmai across Nawarrat Bridge and go along Charernmuang Road. Go directly ahead when you reach the superhighway and continue on past the silverware, lacquerware, textiles and carving factories through Sankampang - Bor sang parasol otop village and take a right at the sign for Muang On Cave in Mae On district.
